emotifont. It is what it is, due in no small part to the generous contributions of various creative people. If you would like to submit an article, we may be open to that. But first, some ground rules:

1. The entirety of the submission to emotifont must be your original content, and you must own all authorship rights to that content.
2. You agree to grant to emotifont a limited, non-exclusive licence to use and publish any or all of your story, without any expectation of compensation to you. What that means is, if we like what you have submitted to us, we get to publish it here. Of course, we will give you proper attribution for your work, and you will still retain your authorship rights to your article. You can use a pen name if you desire anonymity.
3. We reserve the right to edit your story in order to meet space limitations and our quirky stylistic requirements. We might fix some grammatical, spelling and typographical issues that occur. But we will strive to maintain the original spirit of your article.
4. Please do not send us spam or junk articles, the goal of which is to merely address your silly SEO goals.
5. Try to keep your article to a reasonable length. Preferably a page or less. Don't make us trim a lot of fat.
6. More than anything else, we want articles that are compelling and fit into what emotifont is about. We cannot define that for you, it's just a matter of taste and our selections will be made on a case-by-case basis. We will either publish it, or we won't. In any event, our decision is not a reflection on your writing, so don't despair if you don't see your article published here.
7. Please don't follow up, asking if/when we will publish your piece, or ask for critique or feedback. This isn't an essay contest. If we like what we see you'll see it on emotifont.
